That is delete

On Wednesday we shot the video for 'Coming Up Easy', the second single from Paolo Nutini's number one album 'Sunny Side Up'. Dan and Julian off of PTE Media directed it; Nick Moss was the producer; and Simon Poontip was the executive OG cheque writer. Badman forward. Badman pull up.

P-lo knows what time it is.

After three consecutive shoots hooked in the Ile Noire doldrums it was nice to be back on location. The unit base was a pub called The Palm Tree, nestled in a small park by The Regent's Park canal in Tower Hamlets. Ghetto. You could hear the rats screaming as they scuttled along the towpath. But the air was charged with the promise of hi-jinx. We shot a scene inside the pub. Although it was only 10.00am, the extra playing the bar maid got on the turps and then stayed on it for the rest of the day. Oh shit. She was still there when we wrapped, absolutely out of her mind and violently declaiming the fact that she was bi-polar. Production had to call her a mini-boss home. She cut an abandoned, ruinous figure as she slumped into the back of a dirty Vauxhall.

Yes, overall it was a pretty jokes day of video making. And as is now customary, I'd Prefer Not To TV set their battery of Flip cameras to gold mode and made this exclusive 'making of' the video.
