Worst Ever Ideas For Videos By Artists

I'm toying with an idea for a new feature called 'Worst Ever Ideas For Videos By Artists'. From time to time artists take it upon themselves to write 'concepts' for videos, especially when they feel that we're not delivering for them. I love it when they do. The ideas are normally written late at night in hotel rooms or on tour buses, in weird hypnagogic states brought on by exhaustion or excessive drug / booze use. And they nearly always reveal a little more than they intend to. Obviously to print these highly personal ideas would seriously compromise the bond of trust i have with Atlantic's artists, but i'm going to do it anyway because it's funny.

So here we go: entry number one. There is a prize of a limited edition 'Can't Dance Like Me' T-shirt for anyone who guesses who wrote this:

'How about we treat it like it's a dance track, and shoot the video in slow-mo in a nightclub. Not a fancy club or modern video shoot, but one of those '90's rave clubs where everything's slow and fucked and we're just rolling with it. Have you heard the new mix yet? It's got a really trippy thing going on. We could shoot the sweat and sexual tension in a club'.
